Our Tasmanian Walnut flour is the result of milling the oil press 'cake' after all the oil has been extracted from the walnuts. 

Sprinkle a teaspoon over your morning porridge or muesli for the nutty goodness to start your day. This flour is also perfect for all your cooking and baking - including shortbread, pastry, cakes, breads, pizza bases, biscuits, even stuffing and crumbs for your fish, chicken or favourite dessert! 

 

Walnut flour also makes a delightful dukkah for dipping with bread or sprinkled on salads – mix it with your own combination of sesame seeds, spices and fresh herbs.  

 

Walnut flour gives baked foods a slightly coarser texture and a rich nutty taste. Simply substitute approximately 1/3 of a cup of regular flour for the meal in any regular recipe and taste the difference.   

 

Walnut flour is loaded with numerous nutrients including fibre, manganese, copper, iron, magnesium and on average from every 100gram you get 33grams in protein! So it's a great source to help increase your energy levels.
