
Walnutter Walnut Milk
Paleo, vegan and so simple.
Ingredients

1 cup Walnutter Walnut Kernels

3.5 cups cups filtered water

1/4 teaspoon organic cinnamon

Dash of organic vanilla (optional)

Sprinkle Tasman Sea Salt (optional)

1 tablespoon organic raw coconut sugar
OR organic, raw bush honey to taste (optional but delicious!)
Method

Using a glass bowl soak the walnuts in filtered water. Leave them for at least a few hours to soften them (soaking them overnight is best)*.

Strain and rinse walnuts with fresh water.

Add walnuts to blender with water and cinnamon with any additional 'optional' ingredients like honey.

Blend walnuts on high for 1 minute.

Strain through nut milk bag and squeeze (there should be minimal pulp with walnuts).

Store in a glass jar, bottle or jug and keep refrigerated for 3-4 days.

* You can blend without soaking the nuts but they will be a little harder during the blending process. Soaking for 6-8 hours gives the best result.
